    Camping:

Weekend entry provides 2x nights camping in idyllic bush campgrounds. Camp areas are flat and grassy with plenty of shade from trees to be had. Access is easy for all vehicle types. Camp sites have no power what so ever, so if power is required campers have to be self sufficient on this aspect.

There are two types camp areas available at Tuff Truck:

  • being for families who need an earlier night and morning and

  • being general camping area for those who might like to stay up later and sleep later.

  • For the comfort of spectators, TTC09 will see a total separation of the ‘family’ and ‘general’ camping areas. Upon arrival to TTC, marshals and signage will show the way for each camping area type.

    Day spectators:

Day entry allows for 1x day entry to either Friday, Saturday or Sunday. There will be safe parking just outside the main entry gate. Just inside the entry gate a bus service operates and can save the walk to the day stages.

    Toilets/showers:

Several transportable toilet blocks are located in strategic areas of the event for the convenience of spectators. The toilets are manned around the clock to ensure that a high level of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained.

Many of the toilet blocks are powered so as to enable night time lighting. However, it should be noted that when you pick a camp spot take into account the fact that a generator will be running with each toilet block during the event.

The option of showers is now available. To take up the shower option, this must be purchased in your weekend pass and the wristband given will indicate that you are able to use the showers.

    Internal transport system:

Several small buses will be doing rounds of the event during the day and will provide spectators with easy transport methods to and from the main areas of competition action.

    Catering/food:

TTC has a selection of casual caterers:

  • Bulga Community Group/RFS provide a selection of quick and easy to go meals and drinks for breakfast lunch and dinner in their canteen. If you want to pick up a casual meal, they do great Bacon and Egg rolls for breakfast and steak/sausage sandwiches for lunch. Dinner is a selection of chicken schnitzels or steaks with vegies and salad – you will not go hungry. The main canteen provides a shelter with tables and chairs for sit down eating. During the day a second canteen is set up for lunchtime food, in close proximity to the day competition stages.

  • Ice cream

  • Snow cones

  • Coffee

The security team are highly trained in the area of crowd control and property protection, however, event organisers still need patrons to be aware of their personal belongings and ensure that they are safely secured away and out of site.

Security personnel (licensed) man strategic areas to ensure that everybody is able to enjoy Tuff Truck. They are there for everybody’s safety, so please ensure you comply with their instruction and take note of any emergency announcements if they should arise.

Whilst TTC is all about having a good time, unruly behaviour that affects the comfort and safety of other patrons will not be tolerated and offenders will be escorted from the event.

Should you have any security issues during the event, the security team can be contacted via the front gate staff.

    Commonsense Security Advice:

  • Keep wallets, cameras and other valuables locked in your vehicle

  • Don’t leave fridges or eskies out in the open at night, put  them in your vehicle or tent

  • If you have expensive aerials, remove them when not in use. Do not leave valuable accessories or tools lying around

  • Zip your tent up, what people can’t see - they won’t want

  • Give your kids cheap UHF radios so you can keep track of them

  • There are water hazards onsite, please monitor your children near these. Overall, please monitor the whereabouts of your children

  • Underage drinking will be closely monitored. Persons under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult - who will be held responsible for that minor’s actions - please keep this in mind

  • If you do need to drive - DRIVE SLOWLY – security will be stopping people and ‘three warnings and you’re out’

  • Police will be making lots of random calls to the site over the weekend, and may be breath testing – make use of the courtesy buses!

  • Dogs are STRICTLY PROHIBITED from the event. No puppies... no, nothing, and you will be asked to leave with your pet. The owners of the property advise their own dogs are extremely territorial and could result in the injury or death of your beloved pet. There are also various rural-related health risks to your dog on the property... leave Fluffy safely at home.

  • The district will be under tight fire control, so please keep this in mind and keep fires under watch and only as large as needed

  • Explosives, fireworks and firearms are STRICTLY PROHIBITED. The throwing of gas canisters, LPG containers, aerosols etc into fires or the lighting of these items for explosive purposes will be closely monitored. Local police have advised a zero-tolerance on this behaviour and you WILL be arrested... not simply removed from the event.

  • IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Tuff Events & Promotions are offering financial rewards for information supplied that result in the conviction of persons involved in the activities listed in Point 12.

These measures are in place to ensure that, unlike other popular 4WD events and parks that have been in the media recently, Tuff Truck will continue to be available for your enjoyment for years to come, and not forced to shut down due to safety and insurance issues.

We appreciate your assistance in keeping YOUR event here for YOU.
