The Mini Tough Dog Tuff Truck Challenge

For something a bit different at this years Tough Dog Tuff Truck Challenge, we're offer a 'little' extra entertainment - Mini Tuff Trucks!

TTC08 brings the Remote Control 4WD boys to Milbrodale, to show Tuff Truck goers what these RC crawlers are capable of. These crawlers range from pretty much standard out of the box to the highly modified (just like TTC08), running beadlocks, lockers, most with rear steer, some with front dig, some with crazy coilover long travel suspension set-ups and some with all of the above! There were several articles on these crawlers a few years back for those who remember, now we'll get to see them in action.
 
During the course of the weekend, you'll get to see them crawl over almost anything in their way whenever the Tuff Truck competitors are held up for repairs, breakages, roll overs etc. So far, Mini Wirraba will host the crawlers with the possibility of driving other tracks. The owners of the crawlers will be representing THE CRAWL PIT and TINY TUFF STUFF clubs.

The Crawl Pit is the RC crawler's choice website for anything from new released products to general crawler talk and crawler features. Tiny Tuff Stuff is run by TCP administration and is a website purely dedicated to bringing crawler enthusiasts the best products and prices.

So, to ensure that the crowd is kept amused and that action is non-stop over the weekend, the big boys with little toys will be taking to the tracks to keep the entertainment maxed out. After the TTC08 driving stages are completed, there will be a mini competition amongst the RC guys to see who will claim the title of Mini-Me Tuff Truck Champion. Look for them on the mini Wirraba stage!

Esky & Gas Bottle Challenge

“CAAAAAAAAAASH Prizes on Offer”

The “Crazy Esky” challenge was such a hit at last year’s Tough Dog Tuff Truck Challenge that it will return in a bigger and better format for this year.  Additionally, TTC08 will see the inaugural best dressed “Gas Bottle Challenge”.

For the Crazy Esky challenge, some ludicrous contraptions were put together at TTC07, but we reckon the best ones are yet to come… so get planning on yours!

But that’s not all, hot on the heels of the Eskies, will be some of the sexiest gas bottles known to man. So, grab your gas bottle and play dress-ups… there’s cash to win!

Both Challenges will be hosted and judged by the weekend commentary team of Lick (Rick O’Brien),  Tapper (Stuart Macintosh) & Damo (Damian Rennick.

Thanks to Ryan at Snake Racing, on offer is $250.00 cash for the winners of each Challenge, so the incentive is there to let your talent with a Gas Bottle or Esky be seen. 

The Challenges are open to all Tuff Truck goers, so let the creative juices flow and be prepared for some absolute fun and laughter.

Judging of the competition will occur at the following at times at the Merchandise marquee:  Crazy Esky Competition: 3pm Sat  |  Sexiest Gas Bottle: 11am Sun.

Are ya Tuff Enuff to Rock?

After the Snake Racing-Mudrat’s Revenge special stage has been run on Saturday night, the immaculate tones of The Silent will be orchestrated to Tuff Truck goers. The Silent have played to packed out houses around the town and are bound for stardom!

At TTC, you will see The Silent belt out some hard-hitting rock, which will keep you going through the night. You can view all that is The Silent via their website.

So if good music is your scene, catch The Silent at the Tough Dog Tuff Truck Challenge.

Kids Activities

Tuff Truck Drawing Competition: Can you invent the worlds’ wildest Tuffest 4wd Truck?? Every year kids of all ages enter our drawing competition to win some cool prizes. Go to the Kids Tent located near the Frame Twister Special Stage to get paper and pencils. So kids, switch on those imaginative juices to win this great competition. 

The Tuffest Guessing Competition: How good are you at guessing??

The Tuff Truck-Jelly Bean Guessing Competition is back again this year. All you have to do to enter is to collect 10 tin cans at a time to make your guess. Visit the people at the Kids Tent to enter. You can guess as many times as you like, just make sure you bring back 10 cans each time.

Face Painters: This year at Tuff Truck there will be “face painters” coming. Get your face painted with your favourite team’s number or even their truck! Alternatively you may want to get around painted like a tiger or as a “Tuff Truck Fairy” for the weekend, you decide.

Announcing of Winners: All the winners of our Kids Competitions will be announced at the main presentation on Sunday night. However, if you can’t be there and you do win, you will be notified afterwards.
